Found my C55

Hi all I found my C55 in MN and flew out Friday morning and am now back home in Arlington, VA. I had a PPI done and have a few things to get fixed:

Alarm Siren
Front Brakes and Rotors
Plugs and Wires
Trans Flush
Transmission Pilot Bushing

Car is really nice as it has 80K miles on it from my 1000 road trip home. I am researching plugs and wires as OEM plug wires alone are over $1000 as I like to use OEM parts but I am sure you can find suitable ones like Bosch that are $150 for a set. I am definitely going with OEM brakes and rotors and already ordered them. So when I was picking up the car on Fri the owner got a call from the place I had the PPI done and they asked him if they could buy the car as he obviously told me it was sold. It really is that nice exterior is excellent and interior is just as clean. I attached two pictures as they are not the greatest.

I will tell you from my drive home this car is a fing Beast. I can't tell you how many times I was just cruising at 80 mph and had to pass someone and it still had tons of power as you have to pay attention or you will look up and realize you are doing like 120 mph. Will have many years of enjoyment with this car. I honestly wish I could of afforded a C63 but a decent one would of cost me about 3 times what I paid for this one.

Will spend some time on here looking over the DIY's and such as I will do most of what is on my list. I have access to a French guy who use to be a mechanic and has over 20 years of experience working on German cars and works out of his house at $60 an hour for labor as I have to bring the car and parts to him so he will do what I can't do.

Congrats on your new car! The C55 is a great all around performer. Get the maintenance up to date and then get it detailed!

Hey man! Nice to see you are in Arlington. I live in Fairfax. No need to pay someone to do the work, I've built up a nice network of MB/AMG guys in our area and we spend a lot of time on weekends helping each other out and doing work. I also have the MB STAR diagnostic computer if you ever need it.

We meet monthly in Rockville, MD for a dinner meet and greet (last Saturday of the month, we just did this past weekend). You should come out some time! There are also various cars and coffees around the area, I would love to meet you and add you to the crew! Check out our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/517438131692841/

I am Petar, btw. Let me know if you have any questions about the car. Read my build thread, I've done just about everything to it and did it myself. I have no problem helping you out if you need anything.
