C55 cranks but would not start??
This is my second C55 the other ne is still in garage.I have had this car 6 months and only thing that I had to do was replace battery as it went completely dead.
Over the last several months on several occasions, when starting my C55 I have had to crank it longer to start it.
Today I let the fuel get low and it would crank over but would not fire, so I thought I had run it out of fuel. Put 5 gallons in and tried to start, cranked, cranked but no ignition or signs of life.
Tried 5-7 times over a 25 minute period and no luck, put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and it fired up straight away!! Pressure was good
Drove down the road and the check engine light came on. Stopped re started okay and NO check engine light.
Is it fuel filter?, How do I check this out ?
