RENNtech C55
Well, I finally finished my project ...!
C55 with some mods I've done
Brembo Gt 355-6 piston front and 328-4 piston rear floating disc.
Renntech springs bilsteins B8S all around
Kleemann Headers high flow cats.
And Renntech Supercharger and Renntech tune.
Quaife v2
I did a split system just got the car back today haven't pushed it just yet rained so it was hard to get traction system still needs to bleed properly so hopefully by the weekend it will be tested to the fullest.
I'm vey happy with this system I know it cost a lot but I like how everything goes back like factory.
my best run at the track was 13.5 no mods.
I'm hoping I'll get a chance to get it to the track before the season closes.
I'll try to get some pics up soon.

You have some interesting (and expensive) mods. I would be interested in seeing some pictures of the Dtm Shifter and Gate and the Clk BS Rear Sway..

Sorry for the delay with the pictures
After we got everything done and first weekend of testing at the track car ran so beautiful except for lack of traction ...
So after the testing and got back home on Sunday night. I found a 2006 C55 low mileage, 1 owner, garage queen fully loaded. never seen winter and very little rain.
So I bought it....
Now we are transferring everything over to the 06 and is half way through the process.
Brembo Grand Turismo<br/>6 Piston 355mm Rotors
Renntech Supercharger Polished
Now being removed
now removed going back to stock
Getting ready for Quaife
All Cleaned
Mr Quaife 9V2
Now its ready
Clk63 Black Series Shifter And Gate

Wow, that's a ton of work to do and then do again! I do like the color of the second car better though.
What kind of fuel system does the Renntech supercharger use? That was my biggest problem with the Kleemann supercharger.
I would highly recommend doing a true dual exhaust with an x-pipe all the way back to the mufflers. It will flow MUCH better. The y-pipe you have looks restrictive.

To answer the first question
I'm doing the true dual exhaust thats why I bought the CLK63 BS sway bar
it has the second hump for the right side exhaust.
And as for the fuel system there was no problem with fuel and everything worked flawless .
Dyno is set for Monday with the 2006 C55 as stock and then when its complete we'll do the dyno again.

You don't have to get the BS sway bar for dual exhaust, just run them both on the driver side. This was my old car, and I had the thicker Eibach bar. Trimmed the fuel tank shield a little and welded the two pipes together so they couldn't move as much and hit anything and make noise.
What I meant about the fuel system was, what is changed from the stock setup when doing the supercharger? Just injectors? Nothing?

The Supercharger came with larger injectors and software did the rest.
Even now putting the car back to stock I had to send them the ecu to be reprogrammed to run on the na engine.

RennTech Charger installed
The car is now almost completed all that has to be done is the dual exhaust.
As for any of you wanting to do the rear CLK63 BS swaybar
IT IS A DIRECT FIT INCLUDING THE BUSHINGS.
The bar just bolts to the outside of the drop link.

I'm working along with a racing shop in Toronto along with someone who did Renntech Supercharger installs as well as a Renntech tuner .
All this was done to my previous 2005 and I was so pleased with the way things turned out I got this lower mileage one owner never seen winter car.
I had to have.I know there are companies that can make lots more horses but,I like the way this all goes together and its simple and most of Renntech parts are all amg parts all of the coolant hoses and pump heat exchanger the only thing is the supercharger that is very unique to Renntech.

Any supercharged C55 is rare and special and I congratulate you! I've thought about doing this from time to time, but it always amounts to a tug a war between doing this or getting something new (i.e. C63).

Well,I actually thought of going that route with the 63, but due to having all these parts, they are not the easiest to sell, cause lets face it no one really wants to pay the price for used parts . With the us exchange my brembos cost me over 10k with duties and taxes not including install, so just imagine for all the other parts and labour.
I could have bought a 63 but it looks so similar to a lower model w204 with the amg body panels. For me this will be my last build I've been through so many cars in my time. I'll be getting my 911 Turbo S sometime next year but this C55 will stay with me for a very long time.
Its not the fastest, quickest or most expensive but,its reliable sits 4 and has enough to get in and out of trouble.
