I may have a dead audio amp - any for sale?
My wife let me know that "my car" (2006 C55) lost audio after a bump. I can barely hear the radio/CD if I turn the volume up all the way. Does this mean that the audio amp in the trunk is dead? Should I wait for a diagnosis from the dealer (service in June anyway)?
I have read a few posts and apparently the amp is on the passenger side under layers of trim - any details or suggestions for removal would be appreciated. If I need to replace the unit I would like to stay OEM, but I'm open to suggestions.
If anyone has a usable amp, I may be interested in buying it. I found this on eBay; can anyone verify that it's the right item. I don't have the Comand system.

At that price you are sure its the amp I won't wait to purchase it
I paid 900 for my amp to be repaired.
I just did over my complete system and have all the pieces in storage
Haven't decided what I'm going to do with all that stuff yet.
