AMG’s 3.2 liter supercharged V6 engine may not steal the spotlight from its fire-breathing V12 brothers, but when it was fitted to the C32 sedan, SLK32 roadster, and Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 it turned those capable vehicles into serious performance machines. Those cars are starting to get on in years, however, and many of them are starting to need replacement parts- only some of those parts are getting pretty hard to come by- even for Mercedes dealers.

Don't quite need one of these yet but thinking of upgrading for more power...lots of questions.......what are hp increase #'s? How much lower are AIT over stock ones? Any dyno #'s ? Is this a diy project or require shop to change out?
The original OEM has 3 chambers that the water passes through one after the other. This assists in providing counter current cooling and pushing all the water through 1/3rd of the element = higher velocity = higher cooling (less boundary layer effect on the water side).
The coldest water hits the discharged air side whilst the hottest water hits the incoming air.
Is this Speedriven unit similar to the OEM or a once through unit?
I believe the speedriven unit is claimed to be more efficient.
L8tr...Answered my own question - I understand this to be a Rudy unit = once through...unless somethings changed.
