RF unlocking from key fob not working and fuse #8 keeps on blowing!

I can no longer unlock my C55 from afar (which is via RF). It now only unlocks when I'm near the door handle (which is via IR).

I've done some research and it led me to fuse #8 located in the trunk. Sure enough, the fuse (7.5 amp) was blown. However, as soon as I put in a new 7.5 amp fuse, it sparks and it's blown again. Any thoughts on this? Will a bad ATA (siren) cause the short? I've read that they share fuse #8? How can I fix this issue?

Yep, I tried putting in another 7.5 amp fuse on slot #8 and sure enough it sparked and blew again. It's not happening with the other slots. What's up with that??

U must have a short somewhere

Where is the alarm/siren located on the C55? Is it behind the left or right mud guard?

Also, what's the correct/updated part no? I'm getting conflicting info when searching. Thanks!
