Trans Mount - go bad after only 15k miles?

Curious to hear from other C32/C55 owners what mileage they got out of your trans mounts before having to replace??

my trans mount is bad (am getting slight vibration) and am surprised as that was changed only 15k miles ago (at 100k miles, now im at 115k miles) with a new trans mount but not sure the brand.

thought these were good for like 30k-40k miles before going bad...perhaps the shop installed a cheap replacement as they only charged me $25 bucks for the part (that was 2 years ago) and checking prices today and the Genuie MB part is like $60 and others like Lemforder are around $30.

Are you positive it's your Trans mount and not engine mounts?
Mine was replaced about 10k ago and shows no signs of tearing. It was either bad quality or you have something causing the Trans mount to prematurely fail.

Go with 55K mounts, they're more reliable & stiffer..

Zayed - thanks didnt even think of that. You know if any issues with fitment using E55 engine mounts? What part number for those if you know?

Checking this Parts.com site it looks like engine mount is: 2202402717

Zayed - ur awesome thanks man! I'm gonna try those E55 mounts (220 240 27 17).

if they are stiffer hopefully will help as I drive a lot in manual and the 1st gear and 2nd gear torque really makes the front of the car jump and am assuming the motor mounts and trans mounts get beaten up a bit from that.
