Need to replace my stoplight/brakelight switch due to a "engine wont crank issue".
i am following the instructions from this article, however MB changed the location of this switch somewhere in early 2000's. http://www.mercedesmedic.com/mercedes-wont-start/
On your VIN the brake light switch is located where the arrow indicates---ther is no other location for that VIN!!
I will check again tomorrow, i already have the dash out of the car (driver's side) i did not see a stoplight switch, wires, connector or anything brake switch related in that area.
My brake lights work when the brake pedal is pressed.
