I thought the Eurocharged tune automatically removes the check engine light to come on. Smokey31, did your check engine light come on after the tune?

I talked to Eurocharged Toronto and I'm planning on doing the tune via a OBD cable and my laptop. I talked to the fella at Eurocharged and he said this was possible. Only for the TCU tune the ECU has to be shipped to them.

I think you have it backwards for the tuning. The TCU has to be sent in. The ECU can be tuned with the cable through the OBDII port. Unless you are talking about code removal then I don't know

Bringing the car in tomorrow morning for the exhaust mods. After receiving the C63 Mufflers I'm not sure they are going to fit. We will find out.

The C63 mufflers won't fit on the C55. The C63 Muffler itself is bigger than the C55 tunnel for the C55 muffler. The tips are also about twice as wide as the stock tips. Once I rec'd the C63 mufflers and compared them I was pretty sure it wasn't going to work.

On a good note the Secondary cat removal and resonator removal sounds really, really good.

Did you notice an increase in power after the secondary cat and resonator delete? I'm trying to figure out which would yield more power, primary delete or secondary.

I would say yes, but thats without a dyno, so take that for what its worth. If you don't need to pass emissions or know someone to fix the codes for you I would remove both.

Just jumping in the threads as I haven't been on in... 2 years? haha

So, my shop is Speedriven. In order to completely bypass the CEL (tune will turn the light off but it will still scan a code) your shop needs to go in with Star and turn off the primary cat test. I dont know exact details but once that's done, you are all set. I had my Kleeman headers with no cats whatsoever and no resonator. Basically, headers straight out to the mufflers... Loud, but I love loud.
