I saw the procedure. Any shop can remove some resonators and replace them with straight pipes.

I went to a (no name) shop in Covina off of Arrow Hwy; if you re in OC, I d try something local, like a Midas or something similar.

ARHHH....after recently buying this car the one I originally was looking at a 2008 CL63 is back in my lap at a reduced price. What to do, what to do? Anyone want to buy a low mileage C55.

Black on black with less than 42,000 miles. The paint and interior are both excellent. Car located in 90066 and is super clean.
Not sure what options there were in 2006.
Since I have bought it a month ago, I had the rear main seal gaskets and valve cover gaskets replaced along with the AC compressor and a complete service. Mechanically the engine and transmission are sound.
I added 19" wheels and tires but still have the originals and replaced the entire stereo system which now includes a top of the line Kenwood display DNX893S, Focal expert speakers and a Focal amp., a back up camera, bluetooth and apple air play or android auto.
I added carbon fiber interior and shift knob, smoked front lens cover, aluminum doors pins, ghost AMG lights, paddle shifters and replaced the hood badge and struts today.
This Saturday I am finishing the install on the stereo to add a subwoofer and alarm system.
Based on what I paid for the car and all the additions I am not sure how much to ask should I decide to sell it.
Basically it is a very clean example of a 2006 C55 with very low miles.

Enjoy it esp after doing all these tasty mods. With a low mileage example such as this, you won't have a problem selling it 1-2 yrs down the road. If you decide to sell now, no one will pay you "list" price for all these mods, so unless you re willing to take a hit, you should keep the car.

Of course, I know the mods are for not if I sell it now. Therefore someone would be getting a really nice car should I go with the CL63.
