throttle response

Lately I have been using winter mode because of erratic throttle response. On many occasions when turning into trafffic from a side street I push the go pedal and nothing happens and then, all at once, the c32 comes on like a dragster. It is not as noticeable when starting in 2nd (winter mode). Anyone else notice this problem?

Turn off the traction control, then check throttle response.

R U getting wheel spin first? If so check tire condition.

I just want a smooth normal acceleration and lightly push the go pedal, nothing happens, and I push it a little more and then it takes off. All this happens in a few seconds. No tire spin unless I panic and push to hard because cars are bearing down on me. Have not yet tried it with esp off but suspect It feels like an occasional lag time between pushing the go pedal and fuel getting to the combustion chamber. As usual it won't do it when I am with service adviser. Thank for your help.

I find that any time I'm turning out onto a street my car shifts into 2nd during the turn (assuming I'm "casually" pulling out). If I then give it gas to get up to speed there is some lag there not unlike what you describe...seems like it takes forever to downshift and get going...but once it does downshift I'm gone (Note that I'm not just pulling out and flooring it). This doesn't seem like a problem to me. To get around this little annoyance I of course manually select first gear anytime I'm pulling out onto a street, presto: instant throttle response when I need it, without having to floor it or wait for a downshift.

Your issue may be different, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw that out there.

Yes, this car does not seem to have very good moderate throttle downshift. Once it upshifts, it does not like to downshift till, the car gets a lot more throttle. This will feel like a bog, no power till it downshifts.
