Does the C32 comes standard with MB blue tinted windows?
Last week, I bought a 2003 C32 and currently has 20% black tint all over which I'm going to remove ASAP. When I look outside from interior, it seems like the window is blue tinted, I was wondering whether they come standard with MB blue tint? I would love to only have that.

Went to decode my VIN and this is what I got:
691 - BLUE HEAT-INSULATING GLASS ALL-AROUND, GLASS REAR
693 - ALL-ROUND WD-BLUE GLASS,BAND FILTER,REAR WINDOW-ES
So my windows must have the blue tint right? It says heat insulating, I'm wondering how it compares to aftermarket tint.

I also have options 691 and 693, the heat insulating is very poor compared to dark tint. I assumes it helps a little over clear glass, but you can still feel the heat from the sun coming through and a greenhouse effect.

Yes, the blue tint was an option, and mine has it too.
You can visibly see it (they are not aftermarket tinted), and it is on the VIN sheet as yours are.

Is there a DIY guide to replace the front side window. After removing my aftermarket tint, I have noticed that the driver's window is not OEM and has no blue tint. I found some cheap OEM blue tinted window but wonder if it's easy to DIY.

I looked in the DIY section, and only found the door panel removal: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...l-removal.html
Might also be found on the BenzWorld forum.
After the panel is off, remove the window glass by loosening the clamp screws at the bottom of the glass. Then tilt it forward, and lift out of the frame. You may need to loosen the frame from the door. They are pretty much the same for any car.
