Does anyone on here ACTUALLY have this swap done? id like to ask some questions. every time i search, I'm finding threads where people just like to talk about subjects not relevant to the main topic...

I just recently bought a C55 and am beginning the mod process.. this is my 4th amg, all 55's, and i absolutely love them. The c55 is a nice car, very nimble and easy to maneuver vs my w211 e55, but it doesn't give the same satisfaction on the highway as the sl or e....

No Macedon... the best way to supercharge a c55 is AMG_Nik way of thinking..

I am of course also talking cost wise...of course if you have 40k to play with go to Renntech or Weistec and they will make you an insane 600hp and reliable monster.

I have been analyzing the m113 kompresor swap for a while and my tuner also confirms that it is the cheapest and most effiecent way to do it... just get an engine with all ecu and wires from an e55k amg

 

It has been done guys. Please search this forum as well as the W209 forum or C209 AMG forum. There is a red C55 with this motor in it and a black CLK55 I think with this motor in it
