P0102 MAF Low Input help
I decided to clean my throttle body (didn't use any sprays, just a microfiber towel) and intake filter yesterday. I pulled everything off that connects to the MAF except the sensor. I cleaned the throttle body, put everything back in place and I was good to go. Everything went on right, I'm sure I even triple checked before putting the intake back on.
The car was driving fine for a whole day. The next day I started it and it sounded like a misfire and I had a check engine light. I shut the car off, checked for codes and it said p0102. Then I went back under the hood, took off the intake and made sure everything was in place. All I did was push the MAF inward to be flush with the throttle body but it wasn't even loose, turned the car off & on and I had no error codes.
I then went on my drive and after a 10 minute drive I pulled into a shopping center and my car shut off. I drove for another 30 minutes but the car seemed like it was hesitating when stopped and didn't shut off within the 30 minute drive.
Anyway, I don't see how the MAF could've went bad by just removing it. Probably some vacuum leak I'm guessing. Anybody had this problem?
