Diagnostics
I own a 2010 c300 that won't start. I took it to the shop I've always had my repairs done. They told me I need an electronic steering lock control unit but it would have to be repaired by a dealer due to needing to be programmed afterwards.
It is currently at the dealer. I was wonder if I should pay for another diagnostic or just go with what the 1st shop said?

1st - the W203 forum might get better response than the AMG forum for this issue.
If the problem is the electronic key module, then you will need a dealer to replace and resolve it.
A diagnostic from the dealer would probably be best to pinpoint he problem before you start throwing parts and labor at it.
