Car Jumped wrong Polarity - Now won’t start!!!
My beloved C55 was recently passed onto my brother in law. He had a flat battery and (shake head) he tried jumping it directly to the battery from anith running car and crossed polarity (epic fail). Now car won’t start, doesn’t seem like it’s even engaging the starter CCT. Turn the key and absolutely nothing happens. Quickly checked all the fuses and all seem fine.
Gonna dig deep into it later. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!’
thanks.

Sorry but I don't have good news. You will need to remove your SAM MODDULE and replace the fuse link or the module it's self. If you are mechanically inclined and carefully mark everything u should be ok.

Here is a vid I found. Hope this helps. This is the first thing I would inspect. If the fuse link is blown u have your answer. Not too difficult but every fuse and wire needs to be labeled/documented during disassembly.

I did same thing but my head lights are flickering and windshield wipers are on continuously. I put new battery on it and still same thing. Car starts right up and drives fine, although I am not currently driving it in its state, but it has drive to workshop and battery alternator messages. Is there an ovp relay on these modules that’s blown? Seems like a relay or fuse is burnt just trying to track which it is down. Any help much appreciated.
