Weird thing with transmission modes

Weird thing with transmission modes
I always keave the car in S mode.
ive noticed this twice so far however. Even tho the car is in sport mode, it shows gear numbers instead of D and acts like manual mode. Today I drove it out of the garage and I noticed the car was very touchy on the way out of parking lot.
well it was in firat gear and was revving kinda high(didnt hear coz i had loud music on).
the indicator showed S mode tho. I had to cycle through trans modes for this to get back to normal.
this started since I reset all settings through my nav command.
what gives?
