Iforged up to old tricks again...

I faxed my order in for my Seneka's explaining that they must be completed and sent to me by May 16, 2004. If this is not at all possible please disregard this order and I will go elsewhere. Well no ship notice yet. The other 1/2 of my balance has not been charged on my card yet and they won't return emails or answer the phones. Now I am supposed to pick up my 02 C32 Sunday which will come with NO WHEELS. The owner is keeping his BBS and does not have the stock. So we were going to swap wheels Sunday afternoon. The owner is moving back to Sweeden Monday and I will be out a $1000 cash deposit without the wheels! Bear in mind this order was sent at the end of March. Now I think I should have believed the horror stories about them .

you can't expect custom rims to arrive at the exact date that you want it. same thing with HREs, Kinesis.... if you have ever bought a custom wheel before you will know what i am talkin about.

Iforged is not like BBS and other brands that keeps everythin in stock and ready to ship.

when did you order your wheels?? it USUALLY takes 4-6 weeks to ship your wheels.

I think the ****ing point is that I clearly not said, but wrote if they cannot arrive to me by May 16, 2004 please disregard my order. They accepted my order on those terms. If they could not have, no big deal again I would have gone elsewhere. Plus the fact they won't return emails or answer the phone? I'm guessing my company would be out of business in say a....week with those kinds of ethics?

When ever you give a deposit on a custom set of wheels you are at the Mercy of the manufactor.
With the reputation these clowns have you should of not even put yourself at this kind of risk.
Your fax is sitting on the floor of a rat hole office with people walking on it , while they spend your deposit on fixing the owners NSX.

Well, it has been resolved. I got a call from them a few minutes ago and the wheels are shipping today and I should have them next week. I guess I will see if the guy can drive the car to my house and we can put it up on jack stands in my garage until the wheels come?

Wheel Brands....

IS1:
As Mr. Vader13) said: "I.... AM YOUR FATHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! - Star Wars)... well... something else that he is also said:

Call your credit card company and contest the charge immediately... unless you want to wait for Mr SilvaC32's intervention,

Maybe he can resolve the problem for you

When I hear about those manufacturers that screw people up... I think about Mr Puke... well.. that is Mr Vomit (whos name "Vomit" stand for something totally different to what I refer to him Very Old Man In Tights!) and anyone in his profession, my wife, my father in law, etc, etc, etc and I just want to sue somebody!!... shame that Mr Vomit is soooo old that he can't move except when is is behind the wheel of his mighty powerful C32!
If what you have told is true (as I am sure Iforged has their version of events), is just a matter of time, before they run into a Mr Vomit like.. that is someone with a law degree and that is gets pissed enough to plant a law suit so large in front of them that they will regret ever being born... and it happens... it happen to inssurance companies (Sales malpractice which was one of the largest class action lawsuits in US history), happened to Credit card companies (Amex right now is "settling" a class action lawsuit about their practices to impose "late fees" blah, blah.. whelp??? the person who got nailed with a late fee where there wasn't supposed to be one is a lawyer!!!.. and a very good one I might add... what happened??? law suit which turned out to be on a class action suit (out of the 8million something in "settlement" money, HALF is going to the "attorneys"... Mr Puke???..any comments??? )
I used to watch companies as apparently bad as the one you refer to being sued their life out of them... then when I want to do the same, my relatives starting with wife, her father, etc would tell me all the possible scenarios, liabilities, etc, etc --by the way this is NOT legal advise!!!.. lots and lots of blah, blah, blah and fine print that I can't even tell you --

It appears the this company does have a not soo good reputation after all...

And (as Mr AMG Bred said) so as long as there is people out there paying them... they will remain in business...

By the way.. another famous quote or Mr Vader here...

Brabus does have beautiful rims.. that is of course if you don't mind putting the huge weight their wheels have on your car, thus affecting your performance (no argument of that one... nice rims for Brabus... bad on weight ratios as there are other brands that do have the MOT certificate available --that is certificate of firmness--

Those 22's are DA BOMB! I've got to be the first with 22's on my ride - and I upgraded to gold plated brake lines so no fade! The only fading is me and my 40oz of 8-Ball!

Here's what my ride used to look like before I became a Super P*I*M*P!

I was getting too much drag from the satellite dish (I lost like .0000003 of a second on my qtr mile time) so I had to remove it. The gold plated AMG rims were bartered off to a street vendor in TJ (I was drunk and hungry and the tacos and chiclets looked good).

I'm a modding foo yo!
Not to count that Mr Peechey's car came with an interchangable color and wheels option:

Or maybe you didn't see Mr Peechey's new spoiler!!!!:

Are you sure it's resolved? Try asking for a tracking no and see what they say AND then you can really tell if your case if resolved. Think they just say that to make you feel at ease but again ASK for the tracking numbers.

LOL
After going through "a few" years of higher education, you "learn" typing a bit... ya know.. papers, thesis, and crap like that.. haha...(last time I was clokced I was at 110 wpm = Words Per Minute???.. ooouch... hey!... I could be a good secretary!.. well at least typing... )
OR
You can tell I work in an office where emails are your way of life!!!.. (then the typing comes into play again... oh boy... those fortune companies where you are in "email war" all the time... )

I also enjoy reading the postings... a lot of information, a lot of joking too.. good group (Mr Puke, Peeechey... Silva, "awiner" one of our moderators, Vader "I.... AM YOUR FATHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! - Star Wars) ... The Doc!!! (The Doctor)... the list goes on, and on)

Mr AMG BRED, you remind me of a very good friend of mine in Virginia Beach, Va (Virginia is where you live) who spends time on a hobby I also have building model Remote Controlled Submarines and ships (last one was a Russian Typhoon class sub.. anyone seen the movie "Hunt for Red October"?.. here is a link to the R/C Sub update website:R/C Russian Typhoon Submarine

Cheers

You are classic, dude..
And watch out for false hopes from them, but thank Silva for trying..He's a good guy.

hmmmm... I am thinking more as to: "come to Brabus with over than 100 lbs in pure wheels!!!

Still, Brabus rims are nice looking... but if that is what it takes to get the force a bit stronger, it (the force) might just have to do that!

I never said anything about Iforged as my brother logged on my computer and said what I told him. Granted I was pissed about them not being done on time but don't think criticizing them at all or at least before recieving my wheels will help much. He was pissed about a clear coat issue on a pair of Iforged wheels he bought used last year that was falling off. The fact is they did not meet there expected deadline but did call to let me know they were running late. The only other concern was that apparently the clear coat on one of the wheels was defective and has to be redone but they said it will take only another 2 weeks. So I'll have to admire my C32 on jacks for a while longer.
