Too much of a risk?

Need some advice. This car is super clean. Been in one family since it was bought. Maintained like crazy, but nothing done with the radiator. Too much of a risk to buy? Any help is appreciated.

Alot of miles, but if it has a good and regular service history, it should be a solid car.

Having been in the same family is always a plus in terms of maintenance documentation. These cars, if well maintained, can last for a long time.

Looks like it needs a bit of body work on the front end, otherwise it seems pretty clean given the age and mileage.

Could be a good deal, but I would want to see it in person for an inspection first, but that is just my preference, just to make sure all the major potentially $$$$ components are in good working order.

If you can't view in person, I would make sure the owner answers all questions in terms of maintenance and issues in advance.

Lots of good info here on these if you use the search engine to do some homework.

Good luck.

I will be able to see it in person. Hopefully soon. Would you suggest replacing the radiator right away? I'm 95% sure it is the original radiator. Glycol test?

If the body is clean and the interior is nice then minor mechanical problems aren't a big deal because it's a nice car. If it's ragged out, smells weird, mismatched tires, poor crash repair then avoid. Good luck!

If needed. They are a weak point in some of these cars, so inspect it carefully as you don't want any cooling issues.

If the radiator made it 174,00 miles then I'd think it's one of the better units.

Just an FYI that thing has been on Craigslist for about 3 months. Not sure why no one likes but I remember when I was looking they never had clean pictures of it.
