02 C32 Center Console Slide Cover

Hey I have been searching online for the center console cover for my 02 c32 and can only find the all black slide. Does anyone know a place I can get the amg one? Or the grayish grid looking one if its not ang specific. Thanks!

If you had a real Mercedes C32 AMG, the AMG screen border would have already been there. Try looking in salvage yards if possible, as thats is the easiest option to obtain one.

I am asking about the center console slider. Which covers the cup holder and the cigarette lighter.

Thats not what you mentioned previously. Seems like you changed it up a bit, since the last time I checked. Again, I'd recommend checking the scrap yard for those kinds of parts. I'm pretty sure some c320 or c230 non AMG's had this grid style, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

I replaced mine earlier this year, and found a few sources for aftermarket ones. I ended up ordering one from RockAuto, and the quality is ok. The fit isn't perfect, but it looks good and material seems decent. The problem with junkyards is that nearly all of them will have disintegrated, or will be so brittle that they'll fall apart upon removal/reinstallation. In my case, I found that most of mine was actually there, just in a million pieces crammed down inside the track of the center console. It was a real pain getting all the remains of the original one out of there, before installing the new one.

Try this link: https://www.rockauto.com/?carcode=1416912&parttype=1280 That should take you directly to two different parts for an '02 C32 AMG (which is what I have) and the one you want is the longer of the two (they have it listed as part # 20368001239051). If that link doesn't work, go to their site, navigate to your car, and then go under "Interior" and then "Center Console Cover".

Thank you so much! My only worry is, the one you bought, was it the gray grid material or plain black? All pictures i find show it black and not the gray grid. Thanks again

It's "charcoal" (very dark gray, almost black), and textured, just like the original. If by "gray grid material" you are referring to the patterned aluminum surface of the center console around it, the slider is not meant to match that. You should be able to find the remnants of your original slide cover in the tracks down inside the center console (disassembly required), and confirm it but I have only seen two varieties of these slide covers - wood grain, and charcoal (almost black). As far as I know, all of the W203s with "sport" interior package (which C32s had by default) have the charcoal type. My work day is almost done, when I get back to my car I'll take a photo and post it up to show you what I mean.
