W203 AMG Owner Registry, interest?
To keep from taking C32MOOSE's recent thread completely off the rails, and to judge interest in this idea, I'm putting this out there with a poll. To briefly recap from the other thread, I personally think it would be great if we had information about our C32s and C55s centralized in a way that we could freely access and contribute to. If all the W203 AMG owners in this forum contributed their vehicle information to the registry, we would have some semblance of reasonable sampling for determining relative rarity of certain colors, option configurations, etc. So much time has passed, that the data for what is currently out there on the road could be quite skewed from what was originally produced (for hypothetical example, if everyone who ordered an unusual color took extraordinary care of their car, then the more common colors would be the ones to have perished, and thus the data would be skewed). Nevertheless, I think this would be a great starting point for helping us owners get SOME level of visibility into this data, if we can't have access to the actual production data.
I'm very motivated to take this on as a winter project, but only if people are actually going to use it. Otherwise there are different things I'd be better off putting my time into. So if you would kindly use the poll attached to this thread to indicate interest (by "interest", I mean "would you actually use it"), it will help me get an idea of whether this is worthwhile.
