Check coolant level message but level seems ok
I get the "Check coolant level" at startup every time lately(only at startup) but the fluid level seems ok. Maybe an inch and a half at the most below the top of the tank. Ill try to get a pic.
Would it be a good idea to start with the coolant level sensor?(im assuming there is one somewhere)

On my CLK55 the windshield washer/headlight washer sensor and coolant sensor are on the same "loop" so when it came loose from the reservoir under the driver side headlight it was throwing errors about the engine coolant being low.

The coolant level sensor on mine is attached to the underside of the reservoir over by the battery. I was able to unhook it with a 1/4 turn and drop it down and out to check it.
No coolant leaked. Make sure the system is cool first
Windshield washer level Sensor is around the back / bottom of the plastic
Attachment 440896

If your level seems good then check the connector to the coolant level sensor. Sometimes the pins on the connector get corroded. Clean the connector and see if this fixes the problem. If not you may consider changing the coolant level sensor. If your MB is pre 204 you may be able to by the level sensor. For my c300/ 204 I had to buy the whole coolant reservoir. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would put this job at a 3.5 .

Same thing happened to me last week. Brought it to the dealer and ask them to check coolant level. I assume your c63 is still under warranty so I would just bring it in and have them check and fill it up to level if it's low. In case something happen and they can't point fingers at you
