Did the C32 come w/ a spare tire?
Hey Guys,
I just realized my newly acquired car did not come w/ a spare tire. It looks like the allocated space in the rear can fit a tire, but I am not sure if it can fit a regular size C32 wheel.
Can someone please confirm for me? I’m all about saving weight, but kind of torn on whether I should risk it or not. My old E46 M had a pump in the rear, I might look into something like that.
Cheers,
Rob

2002's definitely did not come with a spare, can't remember if later ones did. If it does not then it would have a black foam insert covering 1/2 the spare tire well and it contains a pump/sealant/etc..
It will hold the front size tire in that opening but it might raise the trunk floor 1/8" or so but not noticeable.

My 2002 has an AMG space saver spare, with tire changing toolkit. I had no idea some of them didn't come with a spare at all?
EDIT: Here is a pic of mine (maybe not technically a "space saver", but is narrower than stock):
