Removal of Tele Aid module
My teleaid module has started draining the battery (nearly 1amp draw after the car is supposed to be in sleep mode), and for now I have the fuse pulled. To get rid of the fault message in the dash, since the old tele aid system is 100% useless, I'd like to remove it from the system's configuration. Just curious if there's anyone on the forums near the NH seacoast who could do this for me. My apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. Couldn't find any sort of subforum specific to star diagnostics stuff, or any geographic listing of star owners willing to help.

It's #40, a 7.5 amp fuse in the end of the dashboard (should be identified as such in the sheet of paper folded up inside that same fuse compartment. Be aware that you will also receive an SRS system fault if you unplug the module or pull that fuse, because the cars had a feature that would use the Tele Aid system to call for help if the air bags deploy.
