Engine oil in the coolant, usually gasket leaks or cracks from the cylinder head. In other words, your head gasket. If you see bright yellow, it means engine oil leaked into the coolant. It can be an expensive repair.

If it were a head gasket coolant would be seeping into the combustion chamber and all sorts of white smoke would be pouring out of the exhaust.
