ESP fuse blown

Hi guys - I have an '04 C32, daily driver w/218k miles, sits outside in Michigan; didn't drive it for about 10 days, went to start it, turned the key and 'something' happened, after which the ESP/ABS take-it-to-the-shop messages started. Notably, since then when the engine is cold on startup it doesn't do the initial rev-up to 1500, just goes pretty much straight to idle speed. Checked the 40A ESP fuse and it was blown. Anyone seen this? Any wild ideas on where to start with the debug? Thanks.

Potentially the secondary air pump. The 1st part I would inspect in this situation.

GL!
