wheel fitment tires>?
i bought a set of sl wheels off ebay the other week for my brothers sl 500 and they came today was really curious to see if they fit on my c32 they fit!!!!! et 30 et 33 8.5 and a 9.5 18" though the tires are huge 285 35 18 pilots and 255 40 18 pilots! i was wonder what the biggest size i can put without rubbing? anyone know why i have such a big wheel gap in the front? thanks so much guys

I just dont understand.....you bought two sets of wheels in the past month, both sets are not for the C32, and yet, you want to fit them on a C32. Why cant you just get the wheels that are made to fit a C32???
And it has been discussed a zillion times with regards to the best sizing for the C32 in 18's or 19's. Personally, I have no problem helping you out, but you always ask the same question over and over again and people in here always give you the same answer over and over again. I think its time for you to memorize the answers that we have given you.

i understand that i appreciate it a million but it blew my mind when these wheels fit the car with no caliper rubbig or shock tower. do u think i can mount 275's and 245's without a prob or 265's and 235's? thanks so much

There are MANY MANY factors which determine whether a wheel will fit or not. You can even put 305 tires in the rear PROVIDED IF you are willing to do extensive fender work (such as wide body) on the car. There is never an absolute yes or absolute no in the world of car tuning. Its all a matter of how deep your pocket is. My suggestion to you is:
1. just get the right wheels made for the right car
2. questions you asked in here such as "can you put 245/275 tires on a set of WRONG offset AMG wheels" will never be answered because nobody on the forum would do such thing.
3. the brand of tires you're using will also affect the outcome.
Why do you have so much gap? Because those are 18's, because there are less tires, because your car is not lowered etc etc......
Please dont be that lazy, do some research, info given in here (especially by me) are always the safest info. If you want to take risks, nobody will ask you not to do so.

ok i appreciate all your help it just it through me off because they fit without a prob so i figured i use them on my car just with a smaller tire so it doest rub on the wheel well.
i have alot of wheel gap even with my sotck c32 wheels in the front i heard u can adjust them is that true?

I gotta ask, Is your car lowerd, if not why the **** are you worried about rubbing, just put em on and drive the wrong wheel for your car, just cause the bolt fitment fits does not mean anything.
