Wheel fitment question

Hi everyone. Pretty new member, just got my 2005 C55 last fall. This forum has been extremely helpful so far.

Can anyone tell me if these wheels will fit? I think they are from an SL55. My understanding is that e class and s class wheels are not a direct fit l.

Also interested in opinions on whether they will look good. I love the two piece look, but think that pulling off 19" wheels will require a lower ride height. Although I know a lot of people here wear 19" wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Front 8.5x19 ET 25 225/35r19
Rear 10 x19 ET 28 245/35r19

No, those won't fit. Those look like 2-piece wheels from W219 CLS63, which are very rare by the way because of the 10" wide rear instead of the more-common 9.5" rear. They also have aggressive offsets.

Those tires are also incorrect; you should be running 255 on the fronts of those wheels and 285 (and in my preference 295's) on the rears.

Thank you.

Kind of a bummer because they are a great deal!

actually, with those slightly stretched tires, they may fit. you need to tell us what the offsets are

depending on offsets, you may need spacers, but imo these wheels look good on c55

Hi, I believe they are 25 front 28 back. Does that make sense?

Thank you for the help. I am pretty ignorant to the nuances of wheel fitment.

yea sorry, i see you did put the offsets at top

i had plenty of angst before putting 19" Brabus rims on (pics in my album), learning what offsets are, checking with hanging weights off wheel arches and sites like this to make sure

here is what the fronts will be compared to factory
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...8-5&offset2=25

here is what the rears will be compared to factory, assuming you change the tires to lower profile 30 (the 35's prolly be too big)
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...=10&offset2=28

imo, these will look really good, tire patch sits about same spot, but rims on front poke out 17.7mm and rears 25.1mm, which is what you want on these cars

buy them
