Just found a used c32 amg with a supposed premium option with a Harmon and kardon speaker system. Is this real? I thought the best premium pacakge for speakers were only Bose?
Any opinions are appreciated.

Not real, or aftermarket. C32's had the option of the "Bose Premium Option", but there was no other SKU.
Moreover, you can only tell if the Bose option was chosen with one unique button below the HU LCD and one Bose logo on the subwoofer at the drivers-side of the rear decklid.
Harmon came later, after everyone was sick of Bose's paper speakers and nonsensical fiber optic loops lol

I’d opt for Bose, I can speak from experience. I’m almost positive my prior E46 M was equipped w/ HK speakers. I equate the speakers to the SMG trans. Originally Posted by industrial6

The HK systems in the C55s are actually cheap Alpines. Manufacturers simply buy the rights to slap a name on the equipment and then are allowed to use whatever they want. And the Alpine equipment used is also paper and junk.
