Motor questions
My C32 has 228k miles and I’m wondering how much life is left on it? Also I have a friend that has a C320 for sale with 115k for $1200 it runs and drives he just don’t have time to give it the love it needs so if I bought it and my motor blows on my C32 could I take the motor out of the c320 put the AMG upgrades on it and shove it back into the C32 would that work?

Your C32 will be fine surpassing 300. The M112/113 design is very solid, seen many many C32's well above 300mil without issue. Just be ready for C32-specific repairs

I mean yeah I get that but that doesn’t really answer my question lol I’m asking cause I really like the car and would like to keep it even if I go to upgrade in a couple years to a C63 with that being said can I use a motor from a C320 and just transfer the AMG stuff on it and put it in the C32 I feel like for how cheap I can get the C320 it wouldn’t be bad to have a spare motor around or anything else I can use from it, I’m new to European cars I’m only 24 and I was raised around American Muscle but ever since I got into Mercedes it just feels so good lol

Transferring the 'AMG stuff' to it would not be advantageous financially even if the C320 M112 motor were dropped free on your doorstep and you didn't need to rent a motor crane
Owning mine, I've considered a C32 parts car, as complete C32's go for $2000-4000 Canadian, but half a decade later I realized what a mistake that would have been... I would only ever want it for non-rusted doors and fenders, which sadly cannot be found in Canada lol.

Yeah I paid 7k for mine with 218k on the dash but it has no rust and it’s a Michigan car it’s always been garage kept in the winter it had some paint damage to it but that’s it so I’m gonna fix all of the cosmetics plus I wanna beef up the motor and trans hence wanting to have c320 as a parts car I’d like to pull the motor and upgrade all of that and then rebuild the C32owner motor if I ever wanted to go back to stock money isn’t an issue with me being my bill costs are very low I don’t have kids or a girlfriend I don’t party I just wanna go fast and be comfortable doing it

Don't bother with a parts car until you really need it. It's just occupying room for a $4000 ML55 or some other 2nd option.
Mine didn't have rust in 2014, it comes quick on W203's and W220's, thanks primarily to a flawed internal drip design.
Also, don't bother with a C320 parts car, or motor of any sort, it doesn't have near enough matched, harvest-able, and failure-prone parts to inject into the C32.

'03 C32 AMG
The non AMG block does not have oil jets in the block to squirt the bottoms of the pistons. It is possible to have a machine shop mod the block, but $$$.
I had this same question since my '98 E320 was a possible powertrain donor car for my C32...
