TCM QUESTION??
So I’m about to get both my ECU and TCU tunes by Eurocharged I’ve read about some people in the past having issues with the TCU tune a friend of mine recently scrapped a C320 so I grabbed certain components from it before it went to the graveyard for my C32 on of them being the TCU my question is would I be able to have the TCU from the C32 tunes and if I don’t end up liking it would I be able to use the one from the C320 they look exactly the same but numbers are different

Hello. The part numbers are different between the C32 AMG and C320. Isn’t the C320 a diesel? and the C32 has a kompressor. It wouldn’t work out because the modules are programmed differently to take the different components. That’s just my thoughts.

Hi there, I had a problem with a c320 coupe tcu so did quite a lot of research, I found that as long as the part no is exactly the same, (this is the important bit) and you have it SCN coded to your car it should be ok. I bought mine from Ebay secondhand, when I fitted to my car, cleared the limp mode, it would work for about 2 minutes the go into limp mode again, so you will have to SCN code to your car through STAR.

honestly I think you would like the eurocharged tunes. It wouldn’t work unless you had the modules programmed with SCN with STAR like what ^^^ said. Eurocharged could do it for you but do you want to give the extra money out for that?
edit: yes the part numbers would have to match. because the modules should be the same as what your motor was built for.
