anyone know were i can tap inot the speed sensor wire in a c32 i heard its in the back of the radio? i am tryin to install my new eclipse avn 2454 screen

I dont think MBs use a speed sensor, at least thats what i've been told.

i think there is or does anyone know were to get a speed sense from to hook up a naviagtion unit

When I hooked up my Pioneer system (I'm on my second in this Benz) both installers said there wasn't one. I called Pioneer who said the same. Both MBUSA and my local dealer said there wasn't one. If you can find it, please let me know.

i've looked into getting the eclipse avn2454 installed in my C as well....i spoke to the guys at car audio craftsmen in walnut, ca....and they explained to me that the '01+ C's don't have a pulsating speed sensor....which is needed by the eclipse and pioneer gps units....the only one that doesn't require the pulsating speed sensor is the alpine units. apparently the C's speed sensor is a constant signal and not pulsating....the guys at car audio crafstmen said they can install a custom kit to convert the speed sensor to a pulsating one for $200. let me know if any of you have heard or experienced anything different....thanks.
