Exclamation HELP! Code P0106. Replaced MAP sensor. Check engine still on! 2005 C55 AMG

I tried looking for a tread on here and everywhere else regarding my current situation but no luck. Check engine light is back on after replacing the MAP sensor. Code am getting is P0106. I notice a little bit of rough idle but nothing major. I just bought the vehicle two months ago and this is the first issue besides the typical leaky valve cover gaskets I've replaced. C55 still drives fine without power loss. Just wondering if I missed something? Any help is gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I recommend you check the vacuum tubing in the vicinity of the sensor to make sure everything is snugly connected. Might be loose or potentially disconnected tubing. A common symptom of rough idle on the older gen MBs when the tubing would eventually rot and break over time due to the excessive heat from the engine bay.

Best of luck!

Thank you very much. I actually found out that the hose leading to the block was warned out. I replaced it and now everything works perfectly. No more check engine light!

Sure thing, I thought that might be the case. Nothing better than an easy fix to clear a CEL and rough idle.
