Depreciation after 1 year on a MY2002 C32 AMG?

Depreciation after 1 year on a MY2002 C32 AMG?
What is the depreciation on a MY2002 C32 after about 1 year? My dealer told me that since it is an AMG, it will retain 80% of it's value after one year, but that just doesn't sound right to me.

Well I paid $29,00 for my coupe and the dealer said he would give me $26,200 for it. But since it has been in a major collision it will be closer to $17,500. That why we are fighting hard with the claims adjuster of the guy who hit me. They want to give $2K for depreciation when really it should be more like $7500. Oh well, I guess thats what bodily injury claims are for.
But with an AMG I wouldn't think the loss of value would be that severe.

I am happy that I will get the '03 facelift, I am ecstatic that I did not go with the '02 C32, that was before I even knew about the '03 facelift, so if I had bought the '02 I would have been BS once I found out about the facelift, hehe.

and i just got my C32 a week ago and i think the headlight i have right now looks better than the new headlight which looks kinda funny with so much empty space around the tiny projection lense
