Rear subframe mount ripped, want to do the bolt and washer repair

I have a question for everyone that did this repair. Have a C32 with a freaking ripped mount on the rear passenger side. Is there a way to drill an access hole through the side of the mount (wheel well side, behind rear wheel) instead of the "rear" which means i have to drill in the plastic spare tire well too? Below is a pic of what i'm trying to avoid. Thanks in advance for the replies and really helpful threads everyone!

Big Update: for everyone that has this issue or want's to do their rear bolts as a precaution, you don't need to drill in the well or the side on chassis. You can directly access from the top if you cut a little hole on the top part just under the plastic cover.

What was your symptoms on the car while driving with a ripped sub-frame mount?
Do you have any additional pictures showing the install and how is the car behaving after the repair?

Symptoms were (harsh) vibrations at higher speeds and an occasional clunk from the rear end. Also replaced the transmission mount yesterday and holy ***** it's driving like a dream now. Regret not taking pics and dont really feel like taking the cover off again. Attached an approximate location.
