FrankW,
I will be doing this soon, could you explain the process. Did you start with an unpainted grill, sandblast the current grill, or scuff it?
Did you do anything else and about how much was it?
Thank you in advance.
It looks amazing, just like I thought it would. By the way, do you know if Diamond Black paint for purchase is available yet?

no idea what the shop did. I just brought my grille to them and they checked the color code under the hood and match painted it. They got a new color mixer machine. All for $50, and i'm gonna bring the spoiler back there when I get it.

FrankW,
Well, thanks anyway. If you happen to be talking to them later, and you don't mind, ask them for that info please.
You can PM it to me if a long time goes by, but I will be doing this in about five to six weeks.
Thanks again.

nice work.
now if you would make the wheels black as well, everything would match and you wouldn't have to worry about the brake dust anymore
i hate wiping off the brake dust from the wheels

btw, the grill looks great! Somehow my painted grill on my c230 was more prone to chip then the rest of the front of the car. Its still worth it tho. If it ever got bad, its easy enough to have painted again.

A brave move that seems come out alright. Congrats.
Would you consider to paint the wheels to black too?
Would you consider to put a big CLK star onto the grill?
So exciting to know...
