oh yeah...me and my older brother went to the Desert Hill outlet near palmspring today...we took the 60 fwy and just right before merging back on to 10 fwy there is a twisty section of mountain road for about 5-6 miles i think.

of course my brother was driving my car with me in the front passenger and his gf in the back seat. i let my brother drive since he is still waiting for his M5.

it started with some modded E36 328is start tailing us. i think it's because i took off the side badge most ppl probably think my car is only a mod C320. anyway my brother decide to punch it and lose him in the mountain road ahead (my brother is a better driver than me) we took it to about 110 on some small straight and 95-100 all around and we just lost the E36 in instant when we punch it. the C32 handle the curves perfectly although a little wabby since the car is relatively light compare to the Es and 5s.
the way my brother drives scares the **** out of me but it made me realize just how hard can my car be pushed. the fastest we went today was around 130 on the less traffic straight section of the 60 fwy in redland.

my brother feels that the car didn't pull as fast as the CLK55 at high speed. his friend has a CLK55.

the section of the road wasn't like rally twisted but still very dangerous at high speed. for those who lives in LA area probably know what i'm talking about. it was very fun today.

today's kill include another S600 sport which the driver of that car gives me bad attitude when i wave and smile trying to say hi. he just gives me a look and turn his head and act like we weren't there, so i'm glad we kicked his ***.

the Benzes in our family. the dude you see is my dad.

my dad's azure blue ML430

my dad did try to get "JAG V12" for his jaguar, but it was already taken. i didn't personalized the plate because i didn't want to get too muich attention.

Fleet1 to Fleet6 that would be a great idea.

lol i suggest u come check out the detailing and automotive care forum, JustinTRW posted excellent washing instructions that will prevent scratching and swirl marks. I highly suggest u take a look at it, especially with a black car!

thanks dude

but i think it might be too late in my case...wahahaha....my car already has swirl marks all over it...

at our house we only have two spaces in the garage (should be three but one is fill with STUFF), so we have to take turn parking outside on the drive way.

all dark color eventually will have swirl marks on them, so i'm not really too worry.

Actually thats not entirely true frank, you could get yourself a porter cable 7336 buffer and follow my instructions to buffing out swirl marks. I did this on my friend's black corvette and now it is almost perfect, check it out. Here is before.

Yup. But then again there are a lot of nice neighborhoods in the Diamond Bar area. My parents were actually thinking of moving there in the future . They live in Upland right now. Your family seems to be pretty into cars it looks like. I had to slowly convince mine to start buying German .

my family is into cars because my dad was in the car importing business untill 97 for more than 10 years (BMW, MB, Audi, Ferrari, Rolls, etc, you name it my dad sold it). My dad's first German car was the 1986 BMW 728i, in six month that car was sold because of transmission problems (during that time BMW/ZF were using some plastic parts in their trans). after the 7 was sold, my dad got himself a 1986 300SEL in darkblue exterior and grey interior.

I can't tell you how i loved that car. the SEL was sold in 97 when the whole family moved to U.S. in 96 (my brother came a year later than the rest of the family, so my dad kept the SEL for another year) . Early 97, my dad bought the very last of the Jaguar XJ-12 (model year 1996), which you see in the pictures. same month my brother got his 97 528i. september 99, we got our 1.8t Beetle, and that December my sister got her 2000 CLK320. January 21th 2000, i got my first car, a 2000 328CI, which i drove for excatly one year. i totaled the car on January 21th, 2001. July 2001, my dad got the ML430 because he wanted to buy an SUV. April 23 2002, after more than a year of grounding punishment i finally got my C32, which i picked over the the M3 because of the price and option factor.

anyway, that's my story on our cars. there are many other cars, i just can't remember them. something like Nissan Bluebird, etc.

when i was little i often dream that i would take over the importing car part of the family business.

That's quite a story. So you pretty much grew up with cars . I bet you were able to get some great deals on some of your family's cars.
