I only use, and have used for many years, Chevron Supreme Plus with an Octane rating of 93. We have the same settings as every other C32 in the world with the highest setting being the 93 setting.
I have always wondered why the British magazines seem to test the C32's with better results. I thought maybe they are set from the factory at 91 or 93 due to better fuel?? Or is it due to the colder climate and thus higher output from the supercharger (colder air).
Anyways I thought someone might have these answers.............

I guess I am struggling whether to pay $1349 or $2890 if I already have the 93 octane setting. Any experienced feedback would be appreciated.

According to the above link, your 98 RON octane is basically equal to our 90 MON....your 100 RON = our 91.5 MON. I always run 93 MON (or about the same as your 103 RON).
BTW, they sell NASCAR 100 pump octane (MON) at a station near me :v The NASCAR 100 MON runs about $4.50/gallon and would equal about 111 RON!
Hope this helps!
I suggest everyone perform a search. This topic has come up before.

93 is euro setting and it can be done at your dealer because usually north america has 91... a UK car mag tested it 0-60 in 4.7 sec 13@107
When I have more time I can give you more. Just real busy at the moment.
Good Luck!

Number 1. Make sure it is a DYNOJET. Any other brand and you are wasting your time.
Number 2. Shop should have at least two 36'' or larger fans. When they come on, stand behind your car. You should feel air flowing around.
Number 3. Disregard first run. Allow at least 5-7 minutes between each run and make sure they are done in 3rd or 4th gear from 3.5K to redline.
Number 4. Do not let the dyno shop rush you. Negotiate time not number of runs.
Have fun and good luck.

The Dynojet is the most commonly used and therefore the most easily comparable as a point of reference. The Clayton's will produce numbers 10 - 20% lower, but are just a good for tuning if you don't mind the outcome numbers less than what others see on a Dynojet.
