negative. I need to refrain myself from modding the CLK since its going to be traded for the CLS. It sure is hard especially when i keep seeing CLK's with Brabus and AMG kits around town.

Indeed, ZF does a lot of things for marketing, they gotta keep their closest apart from them which is BMW in HK. True. The bottom line is not to end up like my Z3 on M suspension which activates so much noise from the passenger chair
My experience being on my friend's M3 in Japan was actually I did not find any disturbing noise from his M3 except I could really feel the suspension is rock hard.
And then, my other experience on my very light MR-S was that even had hard suspension but I did not 'feel' the MR-S is as bumpy as the Z3. In other words, it could be all about good matching of the three : car, suspension, wheels and the tires. The MR-S was with 16" wheels and 205 tires. The damn Z3 is with 17' wheels and F 225 R 245 tires!
I am still expecting the C55 is overall to be a lot more 'quiet' than the M3 in all aspects. And, have I thought about slow down my car on bumpy roads ? I could not do that with my E320 , so how can I be so sensible with the C55. By the time I get my C55 on the road, I probably don't care the world anymore except I am hearing only the musical V8 engine

Congrats on your new ride but I'm afraid you might be disappointed if a lot of noise is what you're expecting from a stock AMG exhaust system.Originally Posted by cntlaw

If you're not happy with the ride you can, obviously, upgrade your springs...but of course, the $%@#^#*@ new HK tax on assessories will mean you might have to wait six months (unless you want to pay double or if done by non-ZF shops) and if you care about the damn ZF warranty policy, that would mean you'll have to wait at least 3 years
