Anyone know if a e55 lsd will plug directly into a c32 diff ?? Read somewhere supposedly factory lsd on a 63 would fit directly onto a c32 diff, can anyone confirm ?

I don't think any E55 ever came with an LSD. Which 63 amg lsd are you talking about?

Why not just get a Quaife that is made for your car? https://www.fabtech-performance.com/...amg-quaife-lsd

Sorry meant c55. In referring to the na 63 from a w204 chassis. If I could find one that's used for a good price sure. Dont really want to shell out 1500.

I don't think you can buy just the OE LSD anywhere and doubt even if you could it would be cheaper than the Quaife. If you find one used, I would wonder why the seller would sell just the LSD and not the entire diff.

If you plan on going with an entire diff from a C63 with PP, even if it would physically fit, I don't think you can just plug and play swap because the C63 has a different rear end ratio than your C32. I'm pretty sure it would require transmission programming, possibly custom if there isn't already a compatible tune out there. Cost wise, a used diff with the LSD isn't going to be cheap either. There's one on ebay right now that claims to have the LSD, but the part number doesn't match what I see for the 204 LSD diff. The regular w204 c63 doesn't come with an LSD.
If price is an issue, I don't think the 204 PP LSD necessarily wins the day considering the cost of a TCU tune. Also, the C63 diff has a longer rear end ratio. Would make for a slower car.

yeah I just wanted to confirm whether it was true or not I guess I was hoping it was lol. But no I'm also referring to a used quaife lsd, was hoping I'd get lucky and come across a used one. Thanks for the info though, i really appreciate it!

the c32 uses the smaller/older version diff which avail from Quaife($1500) From (depending on models)2004 they use later ones and can swap in p30 package factory or wavetrac $1000ish and stronger/larger. People have swapped in the later larger diffs but it requires a LOT of parts and some custom bushings or whole subframe

Mfactory makes a great one that is priced better than most. Don't waste the time trying to find one from another mb model, you will run into issues and it won't be cost efficient.

Mfactory only makes the late model/larger limited slips, and for the same money I always recommend the wavetrac over it. which is made in the USA AND has lifetime warranty! It’s just $300 more due to it being the smaller/less popular version. So that’s his 2 options(get the wavetrac) thank me later

Have you had the wavetrac installed on your car?

I am rebuilding a p30 pkg LSD using an alloy housing and more aggressive gears all at once but as stated before; these are for late-models only (215mm) Size in c55

Do you have some experience with the wavetrac that you recommend it?
