Loud Engine Whine at Starting
Just as it says, I get a loud & sick sounding "waaah" sound at startup. Anyone else with a C55 have this? The dealer said it's normal.

No, doesn't sound like a fan. More like a gear/pump whine when gears don't mesh correctly. And it is definitely louder when the engine is cold. It slowly gets quieter & is probably gone about 30 sec's after start. Just crossed over the 1000 mile barrier this weekend... now some fun starts!
