C55 OEM ride height
Hellow,
A couple of years ago, i bought a c55 from California.
What i have noticed and have been investigating is the ride height of the car.
The height is bigger than my other, European, c55 or my c30.
I checked the spings and these are the right one from Mercedes (3 blue stripes).
Does any one has an explanation for this and a solution to make it ok?
First foto is american AMG, second is European AMG (same suspension)

On top of the rear springs, there are rubber bushings. They come in 4 different thickness with dots on them.
If you put your hand in there you can feel what dot you have where 1 dot is the thinnest.
I changed on my estate from nr 1 to nr 2 because i run 255 width and I want to be able to have a hefty load
without the tires rubbing.
Here you can see the difference between nr 1 and nr 4:

I´ve heard there is a similar system for the front suspension. Maybe I´ll look into this next year.
Number 2 is perfect for me in the rear.
