oil sensor?
should i trust my oil sensor or my dipstick? i bought a universal dipstick as you know these cars were never made with one and i checked my oil to find it surprisingly low. like 4 quarts low.... an oil warning never popped up and when i check the oil through the interface and it says oil level "OK". should i trust my oil level sensor or my universal dipstick? ive gotten 2 different opinions and they have said 2 different things. i dont want to drive my car with no oil in the engine, but i also dont want to over fill the engine with oil.

Hello, how did you solve this?
Mine is showing messages like Engine oil add 1.5 Liter when manually measuring (no automatic oil warning), i have no dipstick.
Even if i added some oil, the readout did not change much.
Can the sensor go wrong and should be replaced?
