I found a 2006 C55 with 52000. It is a single owner car, clear title, and maintenance has been kept up. He is asking 14850. Does this sound like a fair price?

you're paying for the low miles. that can bee good it there is a lot of receipts but these cars like to be driven. thats only 3500 miles a year.

I would say that is a pretty excellent deal, you could revamp it up to snuff and have a great car that isn't going to decrease any if at all in value. The ones I see pop up near me are around 12k with around 100k miles, only comparable thing I have seen is a clk55 with 30k miles for 19k.

I think this is a great deal. It might not be a bad idea to get a pre-purchase inspection by an MB expert just to be sure there are no major issues hiding away. If the seller refuses, then walk away. I remember a few years ago I was watching a Mets baseball game and Keith Hernandez talked about the C55 that he owns. Did he love that car. If the car passes the PPI you could have a car that you'll be able to enjoy for years to come and that will only continue to increase in value.

Sounds like one hell of a deal to me! And even if it’s a base optioned C55 these cars are so easy to modify and add upgrades to. You will enjoy that car for many years.
