C55 that got away
Today a red c55 with 26k miles sold for $26000 plus fees on bring a trailer , I had a chance last year to buy it but had a few projects going on , and figured I could buy it a a later date
but that wasn’t the case sold today for $10k more . I tried bidding on it but after a certain number didn’t make sense to me , I have to know my limits ,congrats to the new owner and to the seller
you did great . Next time I won’t hesitate to buy a nice one when I see it even tho I already have a c55 wanted a red one to add to the collection

Incredible result. I watched that auction closely as the C55 market has to pop eventually and I think the result will bring a lot of attention. Hindsight is brutal - so don’t beat yourself up. I sold a last gen Supra turbo manual for $30k with 9k miles back in the day. We all have are lists.
The wake up call with that auction is the realization that low mileage C55s are non-existent. Last year - it wasn’t even a discussion and buying that car at a later date for that price was a reasonable thought. You never know, however, a seller with a low mileage car might never come across the result and there could still be a bargain find to be had.
