C55 Strut bearing dimensions

Does anyone have a new oem front strut bearing for '05-'06 C55 AMG? If so, I recently installed Bilstein B6 struts/shocks on my '05 C55, replaced all front bushings, etc. and there is a 1/8th inch gap between the U-shaped bracket and the top of the fender after proper torque. This was not visible with my old oem strut with 129,000 miles on the clock (new struts/shocks installed in March/April 2021). So, if you have a new oem strut bearing, can you please measure its height by laying on a flat surface, and measuring its height with a micrometer or placing a mm ruler through the top hole to the bottom.
I bought and installed the Lemforders and that dimension is 95 mm and 84 mm for the Corteco strut mount for my correct application. That's an 11 mm difference which is quite puzzling. I'm calling local MB dealers for their measurement help.
