Does anyone have a picture of the poplar wood or is it the same as in the E500?

The poplar I have seen is a bit darker than that, but each model seems to have a slightly different shade and hue of the wood even though they all claim to be the same. I have zero idea as to why they differ. Maybe it is just dye lot?

But, I would say that is the stuff.
