C32 AMG Throttle Pedal

Hey Everyone,

I have a 1991 190e 2.6 which I have dumped a C32 AMG engine and transmission into. Car is running and drives but the more it has been driven to be tested, the more a certain problem happens.

This is namely: I can press the accelerator in park, gear or neutral and it revs for a while / engages but all of a sudden I will have no response from the accelerator pedal. No matter what I do, nada. I need to switch the car off, start it up again and immediately starts revving again / pedal is responsive. So far I have narrowed this down to either the throttle position sensor or the throttle body. I could be missing something.

I am not getting a SC water pump error and it does this immediately after starting up so I think I can rule out the internal temp getting too high and causing this issue?

Does anyone have any other thoughts. I got a used pedal from someone and somewhere unknown and the same thing happened but it seems to be worse on one pedal than the other (could just be in my head as it seems quite random). In the beginning when I did the swap it was fine. No issues but now the problem is quite frequent. I just don't want to buy a new pedal for the problem to persist.

Thoughts? Thanks, Sam
