Test drove a C55 last week...
So, I head up there to see what this baby is all about. MSRP is $59,800...$7000.00 more then my C32 but I paid dealer cost for my C32, so in reality, over $10K more...ouch!
I get in and screw with the DVD Navi which seemed more complicated then my COMMAND. I'm sure I would have figured it out better with more time. I loved the new gagues, DVD Navi. Only had 125 miles on it but I still had to see what she had. Not any difference in performance from my C32 and the V8 sounded great -- but my C32 is just as good with the resonator off.
The feature I totally feel in love with was the paddle shifting on the steering wheel. Man, I would consider buying a C55 just for that reason.
All in all, a great car. But, right now I'm sticking with my C32 for at least a couple of years to see what other AMG models come out.
*Also, I'm up to the dealership on Wednesday to test drive a CL65! That should be a lot of fun and cannot wait to see what she has.
