Questions for those with HRE
1. When you try to put in air in the tires at gas stations, do you have trouble fitting the hose (or the thing at the end of the hose) onto the wheels to put in air?
I can't get the thing to fit with out leaking air. Am I just stupid or is it my gas station or is it the wheels?
2. Does anybody know how much HRE charges for new clearcoat? How about curb rashes? Also, can you just take your car to their office in Vista?
Thanks

sometimes the air inlet is too short... you can get an adapter at pepboys or something...
as for new clearcoat and repairs... i'd call or email them for an exact quote.

- HRE valve stems are pretty much non-conforming. They are too short and too finicky. The best position to fill air is at the 3 & 9 o'clock.
- Not sure; it was one of the reasons why I didn't request it. 2nd was because it will eventually yellow or "fog" over. For curb rashes; your best deal will be http://www.wheels-america.com. Yes, you can take them to HRE, but don't expect them to fix anything on the spot. They are expensive when it comes to "aftercare" and always super busy. The showroom is also very stark; I think because 95%+ of their orders are are not done there.
